The flood is real; the conclusion usually drawn from it is backwards. As generic AI-written content saturates the web, the scarce assets become the things generation cannot fake: first-hand experience, original data, verifiable expertise, and accountable authorship. Search and AI systems have every incentive to prefer those sources, because their own quality depends on them.
